A concert promoter is suing Tekashi69 after missing a big show following his arrest in 2018.

In court documents obtained by Radar Online, Sheldon English and his company RMG Promotions are suing the rapper and several talent agencies for failing to return the deposit they have given them before the concert.

RMG said they started negotiation for the "GOOBA" hitmaker to perform a concert at the Rochester Main Street Armory back in Sept. 2018.

Sheldon was in contact with the rapper's local booking agency Shomari Mitchell and his International Artist Association.

RMG agreed to pay Tekashi69, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, $110,000 for his performance and even produced a $70,000 deposit to Shomari's firm with the remaining $40,000 to be paid on the day of the concert.

RMG made the required deposit payment to the rapper's booking agent. However, after the payments were made, the promoter said they were informed that the rapper had to move the date of the show from the scheduled Nov. 13 to Dec. 8, 2018.

But it didn't seem to be a problem for RMG, who agreed to move the date of the show.

The "TUTU" rapper even posted a video promoting the December date on his social media. But on Nov. 18, RMG said they found out Tekashi69 has been arrested on racketeering and firearm charges.

Sheldon tried calling the International Artist Association, but nobody responded to him.

During the rescheduled concert in December, the "PUNANI" rapper failed to appear because he was still locked up in jail. RMG claims that none from Tekashi69's team returned or refunded his $70,000 down payment.

Now, Sheldon and RMG are suing Tekashi69 for the return of $70,000 plus unspecified damages.

Tekashi69's Other Lawsuit In The Same Month

Last week, the rainbow-haired rapper was hit with a separate lawsuit by a Japanese tattoo artist named Takashi Matsuba, claiming he was the inspiration behind the famous rapper's stage name.

But Tekashi69 also claimed in an interview that Takashi Matsuba was a drug addict, from whom and where he got the name "Tekashi."

But the tattoo artist claims he doesn't have a drug addiction problem and believes that the rapper's statements have caused his reputation harm.

According to the lawsuit, "This action also asserts a claim for defamation arising from the defendants' making and broadcasting the false and defamatory accusation that plaintiff is a heroin addict."
