Shakira has been keeping quiet for a while but shocked Twitter users after changing her display pictures on Instagram and Twitter.
The 44-year-old Queen of Latin music has uploaded blurred multiple colors pictures including the different shades of white, orange and pink.
Immediately, social media users got curious because the colors looked similar to the lesbian flag.
On Twitter, people started trending the hashtag #ShakiraComingOut and #ShakiraLesbian as they started to speculate that the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker may be coming out pretty soon.
The Colombian singer has already sparked similar rumors about her sexuality in 2014 after dropping a steamy music video of "Can't Remember to Forget You" featuring Rihanna.
Their incredible chemistry put fans into a frenzy, with the song scoring more than $17 million views in its first 24 hours of release.

Though Shakira's new profile picture resembles the lesbian flag, with many people labeling it a blurred lesbian flag, that may not be the case.
Perhaps the "Waka Waka" singer is just teasing a new project, since she also shared a link that took fans to the official Sony website.
It's currently unknown what her new project is going to be, so it's not clear if it will be just one song or an entire full-length album.
Still, it didn't stop fans from assuming that she may be part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum. One Twitter user said, "Sharing is coming? Yeah coming OUT. I know a lesbian flag when I see one!"
Another person congratulated the Grammy award-winning performer, saying, "Congrats to Shakira on coming out as a lesbian!" "We see those colors!" another Twitter user posted.

Meanwhile, others are confused. "Does Shakira know she has a lesbian layout?"

Shakira, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, has been dating Barcelona soccer player Gerard Piqué since 2011.
They are still together up to this day, with not everybody knowing they are even together as they keep a pretty low-key relationship compared to other celebrities.
Though they share pictures with each other once in a while, their relationship isn't as talked about as Shakira's iconic Super Bowl half time show.
Perhaps the only reason why they aren't married is because the is reportedly scared of marriage.
