It looks like the British trio is making a comeback.

Dappy, Tulisa, and Fazer are apparently planning to rejoin as the legendary N-Dubz this year, and they are even said to be releasing new music before the end of the year 2022.

Following their formation in 2000, they started on a fruitful career that saw them create two platinum-certified albums and eight top 40 songs.

The Mirror reports that the long-awaited reunion of N-Dubz is "on the horizon", with the expectation that they will drop new music come Christmas time or before the end of the year.

The trio's solo careers

Both Fazer and Dappy will release solo albums ahead of the release of new N-Dubz music, with Fazer's "Tears".

Aside from the announcement, the source describes that "Tears" will "blow people away" as the singe is "deeply personal", and about "losing loved ones".

The source also added that the track will surely "hit home with a lot of people".

Dappy (Costadinos Contostavlos), another member of the band who is 34, will also be working on new songs.

Subtle hints and online teases

According to reports, the MOBO award-winning quartet was said to be reuniting in 2019, but that never happened.

"No one said Dubz was not occurring btw," Dappy wrote on Twitter in June of that year, igniting a frenzy among his followers.

'I keep hearing the "N-Dubz reunion" being thrown around too casually,' Fazer added on Twitter.

While speaking with OK Magazine in 2019, Tulisa, did not fail to get people talking by suggesting that the former X Factor judge will be returning onstage with the two. "One day, I'm sure it will come. When the time is right," Tulisa explained.

Plans to reunite

In 2008, N-Dubz released their debut studio album, titled "Uncle B", following their win of the MOBO Award for "Best Newcomer" the previous year. 'Against All Odds' was released in 2009, and 'Love, Life, and Live' released in 2010.

When they went on sabbatical in 2011, it was after releasing a greatest hits album; the band had three top 10 songs to their credit: "I Need You," "We Dance Again," and "Best Behaviour."

Since their breakup, Dappy has had several encounters with the authorities, while he also released his debut solo album 'Bad Intentions' in 2012.

Besides releasing solo material and working in music production, Fazer went bankrupt in 2013 while Tulisa became an actress and a judge on the X-Factor.

She also released her critically-panned solo album "The Female Boss'" in 2012, which was followed by two standalone singles in 2019.
