The Rolling Stones make their way back to the limelight as they stage a comeback on their upcoming European Summer Tour.

Coinciding with their sixtieth year in the music industry, The Rolling Stones unveiled "SIXTY," the band's official 2022 trek in Europe, including two flagship shows on London's iconic Hyde Park.

Rolling Stones In BST Hyde Park Confirmed

Fans have speculated earlier this year that the band is staging a comeback on the British Summer Time Hyde Park concerts.

Rumors came to light after Daily Mail saw a now-deleted job posting for volunteers who would want to work for BST's initially vacant date.

Since founding member Charlie Watts passed away at 80 last 2021, this would be the first time Europe would see the band performing.

Aside from the British Summer Time Hyde Park, The Rolling Stones' concert tour would see 14 shows in ten different European countries, marking the band's 60th anniversary since their inception in 1962.

Rolling Stones' 2022 European Tour

Organized by Concerts West/AEG, The Rolling Stones' "SIXTY" will kick off on June 1 in Madrid, Spain. Afterward, the band will return to the United Kingdom on July 9 for their first-ever concert at Anfield Stadium, the home of the Liverpool Football club.

These are the first live appearances by the peerless rockers since the initial legs of their No Filter tour in 2017 and 2018, which marked the band's return to the stage.

To further commemorate the announcement of the gigs, award-winning British designer Mark Norton has produced a colorful new version of the Stones' famed tongue and lips emblem for the tour.

The logo can now be seen on the band's official Instagram account.

Udiscovermusic reported that the band would feature Steve Jordan on drums, who followed the late Charlie Watts.

In addition to their innumerable signature songs, the Stones will also be bringing some surprises to their European fans each night from their extensive back catalog.

Among the highlights of the fantastic new "SIXTY" production will be a large stage with state-of-the-art lighting and art video design.

Tickets for the new tour go on sale at 10 am Friday, March 18, while the official tour schedule can be seen here.
