Traci Braxton got the chance to receive a special present from her idol, Kevin Hart, before her death.

Days after Braxton left her fans and family heartbroken after losing her battle against cancer, her sister Toni shared that the singer received a video message from Hart who she idolized for a long time.

Toni shared the 39-second clip on her Instagram account, thanking Hart for sending love and well wishes to Braxton before her passing.

In the video, the "Jumanji" star said, "I just wanna take the time to give you that love back and tell you that you are loved in return for the love that you have given. And I wanna tell you that my prayers are with you. I wanna tell you to be strong. I wanna tell you to stay positive."

The actor also reminded the late singer that she had an amazing family and the best support system who had been there for her to uplift her amid the dark times in her life.

Although it was a simple video message, Hart expressed his hopes that he somehow made her days more tolerable. In the end, he said he was praying for her and that his heart was smiling because he had a fan like her.

Until her last breath, Braxton was surrounded by her family and friends.

What Happened to Traci Braxton?

Toni uploaded Hart's video days after the singer's family confirmed her tragic passing.

Braxton, 50, died after her long battle against esophageal cancer. Her husband, Kevin Surratt, sent a statement to PEOPLE and confirmed that the "Braxton Family Values" star endured the illness for a year.

"We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatments for Esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory," Surratt said.

According to the National Cancer Institute, esophageal cancer starts when cancer cells form in a patient's esophagus. Some of the lifestyles that trigger the disease include heavy alcohol use and smoking. Still, other health issues, like the Barret esophagus, can lead to the same illness.

Braxton sparked concerns when photos of her shocking weight loss emerged last year. At that time, the singer shared photos of her from her son's wedding where she seemingly looked unwell. She did not disclose her battle at that time, but her death explained that Braxton - until her last moment - did not want to make her fans feel worried.
