The Digital Downloads Top 10 happens to be both opened and closed by a debut track this week. Leading at no. 1 with the second largest single debut of 2014 is Jessie J and "Bang Bang," which features help from Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. It sold 230,000 downloads, a total only surpassed by Grande's "Problem" for most debut downloads this year. That song, however, fell out of the Top 10 this week. Closing out this week at no. 10 was Maroon 5's "It Was Always You," which sold 95,000 downloads, not at all a bad start.

More importantly, the new single gives Maroon 5 its second entry on this week's list as "Maps" saw a huge surge in sales, rising 35 percent and moving from no. 7 to no. 3. That no. 7 spot was claimed by this week's other two-song performer, Iggy Azalea. The rapper's "Fancy" took the aforementioned slot by selling another 107,000 downloads, while her "Black Widow" (featuring Rita Ora) broke into the Top 10 for the first time at no. 8, selling 100,000 units, a 31 percent increase.

The biggest gainer on this week however was Meghan Trainor, whose "All About That Bass" rose 63 percent in total sales, coming out to 169,000 total downloads.

The debut at the top and the rapid rise of other tracks have pushed a few old favorites out of the way, inevitably. Sam Smith and "Stay With Me" fell back to no. 4 with 138,000 downloads, not too much of an overall drop. MAGIC! and "Rude" took a sizable hit, sliding to no. 5 with "Rude," which sold 134,000 downloads. Jason Aldean took the biggest hit as "Burnin' It Down" dropped 38 percent with 115,000 copies sold, and fell from no. 1 to no. 6.

Sia's "Chandelier" made a temporary stop in the Top 10 two weeks again before promptly dropping off again. Now it's reemerged after a 29 percent boost in sales brought it to 97,000 downloads, the song's highest sales week yet.
