The Queen of Country has selected the artist who she wanted to play as herself in her upcoming biopic documentary.

Country icon Reba McEntire's illustrious career warrants a documentary to chronicle her life as an Oklahoma native to a full-time powerhouse singer.

Speaking to Audacy recently, the 66-year old singer spoke her mind on who she wants to star in a possible documentary about her career.

Reba McEntire Wants Dolly Parton To Play Her On Own Biopic

Asked who she had in mind, Reba quickly suggested that her good friend and fellow country singer Dolly Parton would fit the bill.

"Dolly Parton. She'd be funnier, prettier, sassier and everything more than me, so I think that'd be a hoot," she explained.

McEntire was asked the question after Parton, in another interview, initially expressed that she wanted Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth to play her in a possible biopic.

Parton clearly has the skills and voice to reach into McEntire.

Then again, she will probably be too busy with her own biopic and a seemingly never-ending list of projects to sign up for any more work.

However, plans on having a Reba McEntire biopic or documentary might not yet come in the foreseeable future.

But, if the project comes to fruition, a long line of actresses and musicians will indeed pile up to portray the iconic Country singer.
