Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins' death has shocked the music industry and fans altogether with his untimely passing.

Set to perform in Bogota, the 50-year-old drummer was found dead in his Colombian hotel room for the Festival Estereo last March 25, 2022.

At the time Hawkins' death was reported, authorities had not yet confirmed his cause of death. However, recent articles have revealed the fatal cause of the beloved drummer's death.

Per BBC, an initial toxicology report reveals that his body contained traces of ten substances, including anti-depressants.

Aside from this, local authorities have reported that an ambulance was called to Hawkins' hotel for a man with "chest pains."

The late Foo Fighters drummer, unfortunately, did not respond to resuscitation efforts and was declared dead.

The Colombian government, which is in charge of investigating Taylor Hawkins' tragic death, has promised to release more details as soon as possible.

With the tragic loss of the band, the music industry, and especially the Hawkins family, tributes and memorials are mounted to honor the life of the beloved drummer.

Taylor Hawkins' untimely death has shocked many, especially his small family. He is survived by his wife Alison, whom she married in 2005, and his children Oliver, Annabelle, and Everleigh Hawkins.

Devastated with the loss of a key member of the band, the Foo Fighters recently penned the announcement on their Instagram page.
