Six shows more until the end of the "Young Guns Tour," and Mammoth WVH would have been finished with their most recent tour.

However, a press release reports that the tour will be cancelled because of unforeseen circumstances.

Mammoth WVH 'Young Guns Tour' Canceled

Per PEOPLE, Mammoth WVH will no longer be playing their remaining six shows from the tour because one of the staff has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The band was compelled to cancel with the following six shows all happening in the next few days.

Concerts in Raleigh and Charlotte were cancelled, as well as the upcoming performances in Nashville on April 8, Dothan on April 9, and in Orland on April 10 and 12.

However, ticket holders for the mentioned dates and venues will be refunded accordingly because of the cancellation.

Wolfgang Van Halen, the band's frontman, flew back to North Carolina to continue the Young Guns Tour after spending the weekend in Las Vegas for the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

"This morning as everyone took COVID tests to re-establish the bubble that has served us on the tour, we came to find that members of our band and crew who didn't travel with me were positive," Van Halen reported.

The 31-year-old frontman confirmed that he tested negative via rapid and PCR tests in the last five days for the GRAMMYs up until now.

Van Halen affirmed that they were "heart broken" because they would not be able to continue on the remaining six shows. He promised that the band would "do our very best top to make up the dates that we missed to the fans in those markets in the future."

Mammoth WVH Nominated at the GRAMMYs

Mammoth WVH's first GRAMMY nomination came with Van Halen's tribute song to his late father, Eddie Van Halen.

The band's song "Distance" was nominated for Best Rock Song but ultimately lost to Foo Fighters' "Waiting On A War." Despite his loss, Wolfgang reflected on his first GRAMMY loss as a mirror of what his father had experienced at the time.

Mammoth WVH's spring dates were already announced and set to start in Tucson, Arizona, as support for their self-titled album.
