Kacey Musgraves has recorded a rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love" for the soundtrack of the upcoming biopic "Elvis." The biopic is  deemed controversial for a while, but it seems likely to push through.

In the wake of Doja Cat's revelation that she has incorporated the late King of Rock and Roll's mega-hit "Hound Dog," into the new track titled "Vegas," from the upcoming "ELVIS" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann's upcoming film, the 33-year-old country-pop star let it also known that she too has made something for the album.  She has put her own spin on the iconic ballad from 1961's "Blue Hawaii" album.

Aside from being interviewed at the Met Gala in New York City on Sunday night (02.05.22), Luhrmann and Doja also spoke with Variety. Luhrmann said this about Kacey, "She [Kacey] has a song in the movie - something to do with love."

Bob Dylan, Como, Doris Day, Andy Williams, U2, and Bruce Springsteen have all performed covers of the mega-hit throughout the course of the years.

The first trailer for "Vegas" will be unveiled on May 6, with the picture reaching theaters on June 24.

Doja sang the song live for the first time at Coachella recently, and she was joined by Nashville singer Yola, who plays Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the film "ELVIS."

Texas native Austin Butler portrays the "Jailhouse Rock" hitmaker Colonel Tom Parker, while actor Tom Hanks plays his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

In a news release announcing the soundtrack, it is stated that "the soundtrack celebrates Elvis's incredible body of work spanning the 1950s through the 1960s and 1970s, as well as his various musical influences and ongoing impact on popular artists today."

It continued: "ELVIS is an epic, big-screen spectacle from visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley through the prism of his difficult relationship with Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' mysterious manager."

It's believed that the soundtrack would help to increase streaming stats for Elvis' back catalogue, similar to what the Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" achieved for the "We Are The Champions" singers.

Meanwhile, Universal Music Publishing Group has just bought the rights to the icon's entire discography from Sony Music Entertainment.

The music publishing behemoth has partnered with Authentic Brands Group in order to represent Elvis Presley's entire library.

Over the course of his career, the pop culture icon, who died of a heart attack at the age of 42 in 1977 following a battle with addiction, sold more than 500 million records worldwide.

Last February, the trailer for Baz Lurhmann's upcoming Elvis Presley biopic has sparked a discussion about the singer's life, with claims that he "stole his music from Black artists" and "groomed a 14-year-old girl."

The first look at Elvis, in which Austin Butler portrays the King of Rock 'N Roll, has garnered negative attention, with online users questioning which aspects of the music legend's life would be portrayed in the film.

"Hope y'all include how he stole from Black culture since y'all announcing this during Black History Month," one Twitter user wrote in response to the trailer.
