Kendrick Lamar's new album is finally getting the momentum it deserves! After opening his most recent album last week, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" is taking over the Billboard charts one at a time.

Heavily teased for the past few months, Lamar's fifth album finally arrived with a pack of a star-studded roster of featured artists, from Summer Walker, Baby Keem, and Kodack Black, among others.

Kendrick Lamar New Album Debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Dominate Song Charts

In a massive show of force, Kendrick Lamar's most recent album, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers," is the biggest first week debut so far in 2022.

The album hits the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 charts with over 295,000 equivalent album units in the United States. All four previous albums of Lamar peaked at No. 1 on the same charts.

With this newest feat, Lamar bested Bad Bunny's opening week last week for "Un Verano Sin Ti" which only sealed 274,000 units, while Future's "I Never Liked You" debuted with 222,000 the week prior. This is the third consecutive week wherein the record for the biggest opening week was surpassed.

However, Hits Daily Double's projections might not be on the same wind with Lamar's as Harry Styles' "Harry's House" was poised to debut atop the same charts with 450,000 to 500,000 equivalent album units.

This the first time that Kendrick Lamar has released an album since the 2017 Pulitzer-winning "DAMN," which stayed at the top spot for four weeks.

"Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers," was Lamar's first double album - split evenly in to two discs. Nine tracks were included on "Big Steppers," while the other was put in to "Mr. Morale."

Four of the eighteen tracks from Lamar's newest album dominated the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 on the same week.

"Die Hard" ranks at No. 5, "Silent Hill" at No. 7," with "United in Grief" trailing at No. 8.

His highest ranking one, "N95" is at No. 3 on the Hot 100, while it is No. 2 on the Global 200 charts. It was also ranked as No. 1 on the Most-Streamed Songs this week.

Billboard also reported that Kendrick has charted all of his songs from the recent album at the Hot 100 charts.
