Muse Updates

In other updates regarding Muse, frontman Matt Bellamy revealed that their upcoming album titled "Will Of The People" will be a "greatest hits album of new songs."

The band's last release was in January 2022 with the song "Won't Stand Down."

Their record will hit record stores and music streaming platforms on August 26 via Warner Records.

In an interview with The Big Issue, the frontman noted that they're talking about doing a greatest hits album, but they're not in favor of creating one.

So they had the idea of creating a "greatest hits album" with a twist by adding new songs.

"That means this album might have a metal track on it - and it's like, the best metal track we've ever done. Or there's a sort of soft ballad, love song and it's probably the best ballad love song we've ever done, and so on," Bellamy added.

The latest lineup comes two months after Taylor Hawkins passed away in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, hours after Foo Fighters were set to perform their set.

Following this, the band has canceled all of their concerts and music festival appearances to "grieve, heal and pull our loved ones close."
