Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, Too $hort New Album 2022 Gets A Release Date

Earlier today, Snoop Dogg shocked his fans with a teaser and the release date for their overdue collaborative album "Mt. Westmore."

The album is a collaborative effort of four West coast rappers, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too $hort, commonly known together as Mount Westmore. The four rappers are huge names in 90s hip-hop, especially on the west coast, where they dominated.

The monochromatic montage trailer opened with the gang's show at Oakland Arena last Friday, May 27, 2022. It also featured one of their new songs, a heavily sampled Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson's 1978 hit "Angel Dust." The Game and Nas have also famously used the classic hit in their 2017 song "Angels With Dirty Faces."

They have also worked together for "Locked In," which was teased on Ice Cube's 3-on-3 basketball league, the BIG3.

Meanwhile, the team's latest single, "Big Subwoofer," was performed at Jake Paul and Ben Askren's boxing match in 2021 - appearing on Snoop Dogg's "Algorithm."

All three songs that the hip-hop supergroup has released will all be included in the upcoming effort, which will come on Jun 7, 2022.

Aside from this, he also opened up they were honest with each other's verses throughout the creation process - criticizing, critiquing, and suggesting ways to make the record better.
