Maren Morris recalls a lively performance with Miley Cyrus as she inaugurates Pride Month. On stage, the "Circles Around This Town" singer collaborated with Cyrus to perform an ABBA classic from the 1970s.

Morris uploaded a video to TikTok on June 3, showcasing both singers performing the duet in front of an enthusiastic crowd while wearing bright pink outfits and exquisite makeup.

She said in her caption, "this duet ('Dancing Queen' by ABBA) felt appropriate to celebrate," adding Cyrus and hashtagging "Pride Month" with a rainbow flag emoji. TikTok users raved in the performance's comments, "this is everything" and "I didn't realize how much I needed this." They referred to the duo and said they would like to see the two perform more songs together.

On June 23, 2021, Cyrus posted a snippet of the cross-genre mash-up to Instagram, teasing her headlining pride concert special. At that time, the "Midnight Sky" vocalist wrote, "SLAY QUEEN!"
