It's been more than 30 years since Queen frontman Freddie Mercury passed away, and OG fans have missed listening to a fresh track featuring the legend's vocals. Lucky for them, living members of the group confirmed that there's a "lost" song that will be released soon.

According to Metro UK, the last time the music icon shared his impressive vocal range was in the 1996 song "You Don't Fool Me" from the record "Made In Heaven," released a few years after he died.

Drummer Roger Taylor recently spoke to BBC 2's Zoe Ball on her show, confirming that they found a "little gem" that they'd forgotten about.

"It's wonderful. Actually, it was real discovery," he described.

The musician confirmed that the track was from "The Miracle" sessions, and it's going to be out in September.

Guitarist Brian May, who recently performed at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, chimed in about the topic, saying the old recording is "beautiful" and "touching."

He also credited the production team behind the song's restoration.

"It was kind of hiding in plain sight, we looked at it many times and thought, 'oh no, we can't really rescue that,'" he recalled.

Upon returning, their engineering team said they could fix the song.

As of this writing, the band has not confirmed an exact release date aside from Taylor's hint that it will be out in September.

Currently, Adam Lambert is fronting the band, which was re-named "Queen + Adam Lambert." The group and the former "American Idol" contestant have been collaborating since 2014.

Since performing together, the band has been consistently selling out throughout their tour dates worldwide. The outlet noted that many fans believed that Lambert was comfortable singing Mercury's high notes.

Queen + Adam Lambert Tour 2022

The iconic group is currently traveling across Europe for their highly-anticipated "The Rhapsody Tour." The concert has been going strong for years as it kicked off in Vancouver, Canada, on July 10, 2019.

However, due to the pandemic, they were forced to stop around 2020.

Per their official website, their next show will be at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, on June 8 and 9.

"Queen + Adam Lambert" will also visit cities like Birmingham, Berlin, München, Amsterdam, and many more.
