Meghan Trainor has been hard at work creating new tracks. Some fans believed her silence indicated she was already on a hiatus. It's cool that she's proving them wrong.

On TikTok, the "All About That Bass'' singer posted a clip of her singing along to the song with the hashtag #BadForMe, possibly confirming the song's title.

On the entire video, she sings:"Please don't make promises that you can't keep / Your best intentions end up hurting me / No matter what I love you endlessly."

This is in all likelihood a bad breakup song, but it is also going to be so good to listen to, especially when you read the lyrics.

Although she did tease the song, a release date has not been established as of the time of this post. After releasing her rendition of 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree' last year, 'Bad For Me' is slated to be Trainor's first new single of the year.

Her latest TikTok post also revealed that she truly she suffered from a bad breakup that entailed her to get therapy. Her therapist told her to write a letter and it was life-changing. She encouraged others to do the same.

For a while, rumors of her already breaking away from the music industry emerged as well when she announced that she would be part of a sit-com, if it ever gets the green light, that is.

Meghan Trainor is a Grammy-winning singer, television host, podcast host, mother of a young son and - if she gets her way - could be the next sitcom star.  The "All About That Bass" singer is working on a secret project with NBC, and she will soon find out if it gets the green light.

"I mean, we're waiting right now. We've done all the steps," Meghan teased to PopCulture. "I don't know how much I can say, but right now we're waiting for that green light from the top boss."

The singer confirmed that she had done everything possible to get the project off the ground, stating, "It's in their hands now, and we're all just holding our breath." Regarding how she feels about the wait, Meghan stated that she is "very excited."

As it was revealed as part of a new cross-platform partnership with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment, nothing is known about Meghan's future series. The agreement spans possible scripted and unscripted programs across NBCU's properties, including NBC, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, USA, and Peacock, a first for the firm.

This means Meghan will have the option to create network, cable, streaming, and syndicated programming; but, she is now focused on acquiring that sitcom.
