Coachella has announced its official event dates for 2023. The long wait for these dates is over and fans ca now rush and secure their tickets.

Returning to Indio, California, the event will span two weekends, April 14 to 16 and April 21 to 23, with tickets going on sale on June 17 at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET).

It is reiterated by various reports that Frank Ocean is slated to be one of the festival's headliners, however organizers have yet to announce the full lineup.

Following this year's headliners Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, and Swedish House Mafia, the 2023 edition of Coachella would feature unexpected appearances by 2NE1, Hayley Williams, and others.

Frank Ocean, who was originally scheduled to headline in 2020, is the only confirmed performer for next year. The 2022 event was headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Swedish House Mafia with the Weeknd. Following the tragedy at Astroworld, Travis Scott was withdrawn from the lineup, and Kanye West was swiftly added as a replacement before being immediately canceled.

In September, Scott will headline Goldenvoice's Day N Vegas festival. Goldenvoice is the promoter of both the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals.

This year's Coachella brought 125,000 fans per day to Indio and sparked outrage among fans and locals as the festival abandoned its COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

On the official website, those interested in attending the event can register for the first round of ticket sales.

"Currently, it's the Wild West," remarked Tollett. "I'm just trying to be as fair as possible to artists and fans to ensure that they eventually get to see everyone we discussed."

As early as back on August 2021, the CEO of Goldenvoice revealed Frank Ocean will be part of the show, interview with the Los Angeles Times (Aug. 2). This is unprecedented, because the headling acts are not usually announced until much later.

After the COVID-19 pandemic canceled Coachella in 2020 and 2021, he said he only wanted to disclose Ocean's name as beng part of the 2023 lineup to convince fans that the enigmatic R&B artist will play as promised.

Ocean's last two songs, "Dear April" and "Cayendo," were released in March 2020. On August 20, 2021, his sophomore album Blonde celebrated its fifth anniversary.
