Less than a year after announcing their reunion and after releasing only one new single, it seems as though girl group Danity Kane has broken up (again). Following a physical altercation in the recording studio earlier this month, new reports are stating that the remaining three members of the girl group have parted ways.

According to TMZ, Danity Kane members Shannon Bex and Aubrey O'Day have left the band. "Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now," O'Day said in a statement. Bex followed suit with a similarly sad note, stating "I now must walk away feeling used and manipulated."

The split follows what seemed like a happy day for Danity Kane, with Bex and O'Day wishing Dawn Richard a happy birthday, despite Richard punching O'Day in the head while recording new music.

The reported breakup of Danity Kane is the climax of disastrous events following the band's reunion last year at the MTV VMAs. Only four of the five original DK members were on hand for the reunion from the get go, with D. Woods not getting invited to the party.

The band did go on the successful No Filter Tour, but in the middle of the trek, Aundrea Fimbres announced she would not continue with the group in order to start a family with her fiancé. The three remaining members teamed up with Tyga to release a new single "Lemonade," with the track peaking at No. 87 on the Billboard charts.

As the single failed to resonate, tensions remained high within Danity Kane, culminating in the previously mentioned fight. And now it seems as though the band is done for good.

It's unknown what will happen with the remains of Danity Kane's comeback album.
