It appears that fans shouldn't expect Fleetwood Mac to have a reunion anytime soon as Christine McVie revealed what's been going on behind the scenes after their last tour a few weeks back.

According to iHeart, the musician said she loves the band and had a great time going on tour with Neil Finn and Mike Campbell from 2018 to 2019. However, the COVID-19 pandemic happened, and it split the band.

Speaking to Rolling Stone to promote her solo music collection "Songbird," McVie said, "we have a great time with them, but we've kind of broke up now, so I hardly ever see them."

For the other members, she admitted that there's a distance, and it's not easy to explain.

Regarding her relationship with Stevie Nicks, she revealed that they got along well during their last tour as they spent much time with each other.

However, since their shows ended, they haven't been speaking to each other "at all."

When asked about the future of Fleetwood Mac and the possibility of them getting back together, McVie said, "I don't know. It's impossible to say. We might get back together, but I just couldn't say for sure."

This isn't the first time the keyboardist spoke about the topic of reunion, as she appeared in a BBC Radio interview where she explained that if they got a chance to reunite for a tour or any music-related projects, it would be without John McVie and Stevie Nicks.

"I think I'm getting a bit too old for it now, especially having had a year off. I don't know if I can get myself back into it again," she added.

Even though McVie is unsure about a possible reunion, Mick Fleetwood is persistent that the group should get together again, as revealed in a previous profile with the Los Angeles Times.

After having a feud between him and Lindsey Buckingham, many fans were shocked as they reconciled two years after the latter was fired from the band.

He told Rolling Stone that he enjoyed being reconnected with his former bandmate.

Speaking about his hopes of reuniting each band member on tour, Fleetwood said he's not done and hopes to get everyone on board.

In other updates, Stevie Nicks is currently on tour until June 21.
