"Show Me Love" by Robin S. is considered one of the music industry's legendary songs as it was sampled in numerous tracks despite being released in the 90s. Today, the iconic singer expressed her gratitude to Beyoncé for crediting her.

According to Uproxx, the song dominated the top-40 radio charts after being released in 1990. It didn't lose its relevance throughout the years as many fans continue to stream it online.

Recently, Beyoncè made her highly-anticipated comeback by dropping "Break My Soul," which sampled "Show Me Love."

In a video message to Good Morning Britain, the singer said her son called her as she became a trending topic on Twitter because her stems were featured on the new song.

She later expressed gratitude to the singer and her husband for their support, saying, "To Jay-Z, to the entire team... Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I'm still alive. I am honored and I am excited to see what else can happen."

Robin S. also wanted to collaborate with Beyoncé because it's always been a dream.

Aside from the legendary track, the "Find My Way Back" songstress also sampled Bounce artist Big Freedia's vocals on the track.

"It feels surreal to be on the track with the Queen Beyonce, once again I'm so honored to be apart of this special moment. I'm forever grateful lord. someone please catch me," she wrote on Twitter.

Beyoncè used the New Orleans-based artist's 2014 song "Explode" from the album "Free Your Mind."

This isn't the first time the two collaborated, as Big Freedia also appeared on the singer's smash hit "Formation" from her 2016 album "Lemonade."

Many artists have been using Robin S.'s song over the years, including 2022's "Used To Know Me" by Charli XCX.

In an interview with NPR, the English pop star said she wrote the song during the pandemic, and it initially sounded "really different."

She continued singing the bass line from "Show Me Love" and realized that the two songs work perfectly combined.

Upon telling A&R her idea, she said his reaction was, "Oh my god, amazing."

"You know, gagging for it. So I was like, "Great, let's do it." That song's one of those timeless songs that is always in clubs, in playlists, constantly," she added.
