Chris Brown, 33, is hoping to have a Beyoncé collaboration after he worked together with Normani. He said that will be "dope," oblivious to the backlash that Normani is currently getting because she decided to work with him. Will Beyonce give in to his wishes, if there is a possibility of her being in the receiving end of such a backlash too?

Chris Brown Wants Beyonce

On June 22, the "Forever" singer claimed on the podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game that Queen Bey, 40 is at the top of his list of artists with whom he would like to collaborate.

"Probably Beyoncé, only because of what that would look like. Us really do a dope song with both of us dancing in it," Chris explained.

"That would be dope, like a check off my to-do list," Chris added. "She's probably the only one I haven't really worked with. I ain't turning it down, we just tryna see when it happen."

A Breezy-Bey collaboration would be well received by some fans. Both performers have cooperated with a variety of artists during their careers, but they have never worked together.

Both Grammy-winning singers will, ironically, release new music this summer. Chris's ninth studio album, Breezy, will be released on June 24 and will feature artists such as Lil Wayne, Anderson.Paak, H.E.R., and Jack Harlow. Beyonce's long-awaited seventh studio album, Renaissance, will be released on July 29. The first song she published was "Break My Soul."

Turning a Deaf Ear to What People Are Saying About Normani After Collab

Chris has recently collaborated with Normani. In the music video for "WE (Warm Embrace)," the 26-year-old can be seen. Chris and Normani dance seductively in the video before taking a romantic swim. Chris looks to have found the girl of his dreams in Normani, and they are riding a UFO into space near the end of the song video.

However, Normani is being chastised for ever working with Chris Brown. Some fans find it difficult to imagine she collaborated with Brown without reservation.

Given Brown's history of abuse, many were quick to criticise Normani for sacrificing her good image for what appeared to be a sign of support. Normani herself has taken to social media what she felt about the collaboration and it was apparent that she's in cloud nine. She said she cannot believe Brown trusted her and that the whole thing is just "surreal."

Her 'amazing' performance drew praise from a slew of verified Instagram accounts, including Dinah Jane, her former Fifth Harmony bandmate, and Kim Kardashian's BFF La La Anthony.

The majority of the comment section, on the other hand, was made up of perplexed and upset Normani fans, many of whom begged her to "remove" all traces of the music video from her Facebook page.

One commenter criticized Normani's public relations team for the collaboration, while another called it "embarrassing."

One Instagram user harshly rated the video a "hard pass" due to the "many claims of abuse" levied against Chris over the years, which makes the new project difficult to watch.

Beyonce will obviously think about this before deciding whether or not to work with Chris Brown.
