It appears that Britney Spears' ex-husband will spend further time in prison. The court rules that he needs to remain jailed after what he did on the pop star's wedding date. He is now facing with not just one, but four charges.

Page Six stated that Jason Alexander, who was detained after attempting to crash the singer's wedding to Sam Asghari on June 9, had a preliminary hearing on Monday, June 27.

His hopes of making out were dashed as the judge ruled to hold him on the four charges against him in lieu of $100,000 bail.

His public attorney reportedly argued that Jason's stalking charge should be reduced to a misdemeanor because there was insufficient evidence that he was at Britney's residence with the intent to harm her. This falls deaf on the judge's ears.

In addition to the charge of stalking, Jason faces charges of trespassing, vandalism, and violence. He was reportedly late to his most recent court appearance because he contracted COVID-19 in jail and was taken to the Ventura County Superior Court wearing a face mask. Four witnesses were taken to the stand to testify about the incident prior to the verdict.

Richard Eubler, one of the four individuals, testified that Jason attempted "several times" to unlock Britney's locked bedroom door on the second floor of her Thousand Oaks house while she was inside getting ready for her wedding, according to Page Six.

"I had just reached the stairway when he retreated and reached into his right pocket," Richard was quoted as saying.

According to reports, he also mentioned grabbing for his firearm since he did not know what Jason was holding.

Richard allegedly stated that Jason then entered the game room and locked the door behind him, leaving them both inside.

"He was just yelling for Britney," the guard alleged. "He said, 'F*ck it. I'm going back inside the way I came.'"

Jason allegedly elbowed and punched Richard to get back into the main section of Britney's home, and Richard apparently testified that this was not the first time Jason had attempted to enter the "...Baby One More Time" singer's residence.

Jason, who was briefly married to Britney for a few days in 2004 after a hasty wedding in Las Vegas, was officially charged with trespassing, vandalism, and violence on June 10, followed by an additional charge of criminal stalking on June 13. If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison for his not-guilty plea.
