Travis Scott's first festival since the tragic Astroworld Festival was canceled.

Day N Vegas, a premier HipHop festival in Las Vegas, features the Sicko Mode hitmaker as a headliner along with J.Cole and GRAMMY-winning artist SZA.

Per the organizers, the Day N Vegas festival was canceled because of multiple reasons, one being attributed to logistical aspects.

Day N Vegas Festival 2022 Canceled

Supposed to take place on Labor Day Weekend from Sep. 2 - 4, 2022, the Day N Vegas festival will not be taking place anymore.

The Goldenvoice-produced Hip-hop music festival is expected to fill in Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

In their official social media accounts, the Day N Vegas Music Festival 2022 shared the shocking news to all its festivalgoers.

Per the announcement, the Day N Vegas Music Festival was canceled because of three reasons - logistics, timing, and production - forcing the organizers to cancel the festival for good.

"The refund process will begin immediately, and funds will appear back to your account within the next 2-4 weeks. All orders will be refunded to the credit card used to complete purchase," the statement reads.

No details were published as to what led the organizers to arrive at a decision.

But it is notable that the Day N Vegas Festival 2022 was taking place two months earlier than it has in the past. At the time of the announcement of the festival, netizens expressed negative sentiments about the festival.

"An outdoor festival in Vegas on Labor Day? No thanks," one complained. This is because daytime temperatures in the summer climb on average around 90° in the desert city - which impacted the ticket sales for the music festival.

Aside from this, Variety sources report that the venue availability caused the date change.

Sadly for Scott, his first festival performance since Astroworld was a bust. But this is not his first public performance since the high-profile incident.

After being removed from the Coachella 2022 lineup, he performed at a private Bootsy Bellows afterparty in April. The Goosebumps singer also sang at a private house party in Bel-Air around March.
