A surveillance camera reportedly recorded the moments before and after Lil Tjay was shot.

In the weeks after Lil Tjay's shooting incident, no surveillance video or other clip was publicized. It could play a critical role in the probe, though, as it could prove the shooter's horrendous crime.

But the CEO of VladTV, DJ Vlad, recently confirmed that he has a copy of the surveillance footage - but he refused to share it with the public.

On Twitter, DJ Vlad earned people's attention when he revealed that he obtained a copy of the video of Lil Tjay getting shot.

"I have a copy of the surveillance video of Lil Tjay getting shot. We're not putting it out. They did him dirty. If it's any consolation, the shooter looks right into the camera after it happens. So there's a 100% chance he's getting convicted for this," he said.

He uploaded a follow-up tweet, clarifying that the video he has is not being sold.

The rapper's fans slammed him for having a "weird flex" as DJ Vlad decided to reveal that he has a copy of it but refused to share it.

One condemned him and said, "What difference did you make posting this? Absolutely nothing. This whole tweet confirms nothing that we either already didn't know or that we care about. But then again, it's Vlad, so not that any of us expect more. Plus, the video will come out regardless."

Others also told him that the video would surely be available on Reddit soon.

However, one said that DJ Vlad's reason for not uploading it might be due to copyright and legal reasons.

Who Shot Lil Tjay?

Amid the demand to see the video regardless of how gory and horrifying it might look like, DJ Vlad's statement about the suspect looking at the camera seemingly proved that Mohamed Konate was the one who truly shot the rapper.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and New York City Police Department arrested the 27-year-old who attempted to rob the rapper and two other men. He was charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, and weapons charges, to name a few.

The official press release said that Konate attempted to commit armed robbery against Lil Tjay and two friends while they were walking near The Promenade. Lil Tjay ended up sustaining seven gunshot wounds.
