Drake has been making up to fans by hosting a three-day festival and he brought out a special guest that many people didn't expect as both of them had differences in music. However, they made the crowd sing and cheer through the night.

According to UPROXX, the rapper surprised his fans when Nelly Furtado joined him on stage to sing the legendary song "I'm Like A Bird."

The two Canadian stars belted out the Grammy Award-winning song and fans joined them as they cheered while the pair were performing.

After the performance, videos from the three-day festival immediately made rounds online and many fans labeled the interaction as "Canadian history."

"drake and nelly furtado singing i'm like a bird together.. this is canadian history," one wrote.

"Two Canadians legends!!!!! Here for it!!!!!" another one wrote.

The 2000s song wasn't the only track Furtado performed during the event as she also sang her Timbaland collaboration song "Promiscuous."

The singer was a part of Drake's All Canadian North Stars lineup for his October World Weekend, a three-day festival in his hometown Toronto, Canada.

All the Canadian rap pioneers mentioned above helped Drake in the early stages of his career as they paved the way for younger artists to explore hip-hop in the past.

The next show will be a Young Money reunion featuring Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, as well as a show with Chris Brown.

Not The First Time Drake Collaborated With Legendary Musicians

Furtado's latest appearance comes a few weeks after Backstreet Boys surprised fans by bringing out Drake to stage as one of their members for a song.

In early reports, fans were shocked upon seeing Drake perform at the boyband's concert in Toronto.

He was introduced as the "sixth member" by Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, and AJ McLean.

Backstreet Boys and the rapper performed their classic song "I Want It That Way" combined with "Hold On, We're Going Home's" lyrics.

The hit 1999 track was significant for Drake as he remembered something about the song during his early years of teenagehood.

He said a girl he was in love with came up to him during his bar mitzvah and "one of the greatest songs in the world" started playing.
