Drake's career has been successful over the past few weeks after releasing his latest album, "Honestly, Nevermind," but the rapper had a bigger honor over the weekend during Backstreet Boys' show in Canada.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Toronto concertgoers were surprised when Drake was introduced as a "sixth member" by members Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson.

The boyband and the rapper performed "I Want It That Way" with the lyrics combined with the latter's "Hold On, We're Going Home."

It appears that the band's song was significant for the Canadian rapper as he recalled something that happened to him when he was 13 years old.

During his bar mitzvah, a girl he was in love with came up to him for the first time ever while "one of the greatest songs in the world was playing."

The girl asked him if he wanted to dance, and he felt acknowledged by it.

This was not the first time the boyband surprised its fans with special guests on stage, as Drake's appearance comes almost a month after Backstreet Boys members' children performed along with their singer dads.

The group performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.

"There were too many special moments to count - but one of them was having our little Backstreet family out on stage with us. Thank you to each and every one of you for making it magic," they wrote in a video posted on Instagram.

Backstreet Boys performed "No Place" during the first few verses before their children went on stage.

All group members had their kids with them except for Littrell for unknown reasons.

Carter was with his kids Odin and Saoirse, who belted a solo performance in front of the crowd. McLean was accompanied by Ava and Lyric, Dorough with James and Holden, while Richardson with his kids Mason and Maxwell.

In other Drake updates, the rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, broke another record for his album "Honestly, Nevermind" despite having backlash from fans.

The rapper reportedly had 13 of the 14 songs from the album that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The achievement led him to have 263 tracks in the charts, placing him in third place along with Barbra Streisand and Bruce Springsteen.
