Years after One Direction disbanded, Louis Tomlinson isn't afraid to speak his mind out as he recently gave his honest opinion about the group's album and didn't hold back with his choice of words.

Even though the boy band's debut record "Up All Night" amassed massive success as it was their first album straight off the reality singing competition show "X Factor," the former member appeared to have not liked their previous songs.

Speaking to "Smallzy's Surgery" podcast, the 30-year-old singer revealed his true feelings over the band's discography, saying, "Twelve years ago today the band got formed, but the first album was s*** anyway."

He didn't give more context as to why he didn't like the album.

According to Billboard, the record was released a year after One Direction dominated the world throught "X Factor." It amassed massive success because it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

It contains some of their biggest hits like "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing."

Elsewhere in the interview, the "Back To You" hitmaker opened up about his upcoming album that doesn't have an official release date yet.

Speaking about his working experience, Tomlinson said he enjoyed making the new album 20 times more than the first one, which was 2020's "Walls."

He added that he still feels pressured to have a successful record as there were mixed opinions on his first album. He's also trying to find his "feet" after spending successful years with One Direction.

"So I feel like I've been able to look at this record with a bit more clarity," he added.

Despite revealing his true feelings about the boy band's first album, it appears that he has a completely different opinion on his bandmates themselves as he's hoping to reunite with his former pals Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik.

In a previous interview, he noted that it's still impossible to tell when they're getting back together but he would be surprised if they didn't as it will be "a waste."

The recent comments come a few weeks after ITV celebrated One Direction's 12th anniversary by sharing a video of how the band was formed.

The clip shows judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, and Nicole Scherzinger doing their best to match the boys with one another.
