The "Solar Power" era may be over, but Lorde is working tirelessly on new music after wrapping up the album with a final music video.

The New Zealand artist surprised fans by releasing the official visuals for the record's closing track "Oceanic Feeling." The release date of her music video also marks the first anniversary of "Solar Power."

In a message to fans, obtained by NME, the "Man With An Axe" songstress revealed that she can't believe her music era has come to an end.

She also explained her daily routine, saying her whole life has "lived in deference to the season" as she wakes up every day and the weather outside decides what she'll do for the rest of the day.

For summer, which is heavily inclined with her latest album, she felt like the season was a movie playing in the background.

Teasing fans about her future music projects, Lorde said she's been working since her tour ended.

"Spending long days in a dark room, my brain buzzing like a fluorescent tube, eyes watering when I step back into the light," she penned.

Lorde Teases Fans About the Sound of Her Future Music

Lorde may have switched genres and toned down some of her songs during the "Solar Power" era, but she previously revealed that she's getting close to writing "bangers" again.

At the third and final night of her three-night concert at the Roundhouse London in June, the pop star said "big, bright pop song" has defined her life.

During her early years, Lorde would turn on the radio and "love that feeling" and listening to pop bangers became an "addiction to her."

"I just wanted to keep trying to construct the perfect thing that would hit you in the heart emotionally, over three-and-a-half minutes," she added.

During that concert, the singer said it was the ninth anniversary of her debut single "Royals" which became her most successful single to date as it was her only song to win a Grammy award.

The "Secrets from a Girl (Who's Seen it All)" hitmaker expressed her gratitude to fans, saying that she's lucky to share her stardom with them because a "banger" is not considered a big thing until the audience participates.

She concluded her speech by saying she's getting close to writing music that her fans could dance to and feel in their hearts.
