Is it possible that Kelly Clarkson may restart her dead marriage to Brandon Blackstock?
Her close pals are apparently optimistic that she and the music manager may reconcile after she waved the white flag at him.
According to a National Enquirer source, the "Since U Been Gone" actress recently disclosed that she reunited with her ex-husband and their two children, River Rose and Remington.
During their reunion, the children apparently believed their parents were "more centered."
Kelly's friends anticipate she will spend more time with Brandon now that her heart has warmed toward him, according to the source.
"You get the genuine sensation her heart has softened now that the dust has settled on the divorce, and her heart is opening towards him again," they added.
The source further stated that only time will tell if Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock can save their already broken marriage.
It's also uncertain whether Brandon is willing to reconciling with the presenter of "The Kelly Clarkson Show."
After all, the former power couple went through a contentious divorce after announcing their separation. Brandon had even requested a large sum of money from Kelly for spousal support.
They also had a few squabbles over their divorce settlement, including custody of their children.

However, because of where she resides, the "Moment Like This" singer was granted physical custody of the children.
Kelly and Brandon reconciled because of their children, not because Kelly wanted to rekindle her relationship with her ex.
As a result, you should take this news with a grain of salt. There's also no indication that they want to spend more time together following their recent reconciliation.
Last year, it was claimed that she struggled to find a partner to date since Brandon Blackstock was stressing him out at the time.
The "Breakaway" singer reportedly had a terrible time going through a divorce after being married to Brandon for seven years and then having to deal with him soaking her for cash in the settlement.
Brandon is also said to be the reason "she's become a touch gun-shy with males."
According to their source, Kelly's celebrity pals such as Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire attempted to introduce her to numerous suitable men. Nonetheless, she finally chose to take her time before entertaining anyone.
"Kelly discovered she doesn't need a man to make her happy," they remarked at the time. She's not in any hurry for any guy to ruin that up."
