Bad Bunny is one of the biggest music artists in the world today and he's using his big platform to educate others about the reality of life and what's happening in his home country of Puerto Rico.

According to NBC News, the reggaeton rapper released a music video for his song "El Apagón" (The Blackout) and it featured the aftermath of Hurrican Fiona that heavily devastated most parts of the country.

The rapper used his platform to educate people and let the world know about the current situation in Puerto Rico as his latest release isn't just a regular music video because it also featured an 18-minute documentary titled "Aquí Vive Gente." ("People Live Here")

The short feature revolves around injustices and inequalities that the people of his country have been facing for years.

Created by independent journalist Bianca Graulau, the documentary also features the country's problems with the power grid, gentrification issues, and the displacement of residents of the island.

Aside from focusing on the social injustices that his home country is currently facing, the rapper also loves incorporating the sound of Puerto Rico into his music.

In a previous interview with Apple Music, he noted that he's proud of his culture and he will always make music for Puerto Ricans first.
