Taylor Swift has missed "that connection" with her fans so much that she cannot wait to embark on a tour. The feeling is mutual because certainly, fans would really want her onstage and performing live once more.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the "Shake It Off" singer has not been on tour since her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour.

Her 2020 tour, "Lover Fest," was canceled.

Taylor Swift has released four albums since her previous tour, including "Lover," "Folklore," "Evermore," and "Midnights," as well as re-recordings of Fearless and Red, and she expressed that she misses seeing her fans' reactions to her music live.

"I miss it. I really miss it. I miss, you know, when you write songs and you're proud of the songs, and you have the fans reacting... the most potent way that you can see them react is when you're looking into their faces," she said while guesting on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday. "Do you know what I mean? I miss that a lot. I really miss that connection."

Fallon attempted to convince Taylor to discuss her next tour during the interview by pointing out that it had been four years since her last global tour.

"I think I should do it", she said, prompting the studio audience to start cheering.

Jimmy asked, "Are we talking sooner than later?" and she said, "You know, I should do it... When it's time, we'll do it."

Of course, there had been no real details as to the tour. But having the artist herself on board is an exciting news in itself. Imagine if she said she cannot envision doing a tour? That would be heartbreaking!

Since fans have until Thursday to join up for presale access, it is widely anticipated that Taylor will announce her upcoming tour shortly.

Meanwhile, there's a huge possibility that Taylor Swift could make history on November 15, when the 65th annual Grammy nominees are announced.

If "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film)" is nominated for song of the year, Taylor Swift will tie Paul McCartney and Lionel Richie for the most nominations in the history of this prestigious category. Swift's qualifying in this area was not certain.

The ballad is an enlarged version of a song that featured on her Red album nine years ago, which was nominated for album of the year and best country album. At the time, "All Too Well" was not entered nor nominated in a songwriting category.

The Grammy rules and procedures manual lacks clear guidance on how the Academy should handle such exceptional occurrences.

It adds that a song...must have been issued on a recording for the first time or gained recognition for the first time in the current eligibility year.

The Academy determined that "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film)" contained sufficient new material to be declared a new song. On Sunday, October 23, the first round of voting for the Grammy Awards concluded.
