Fans, friends, and family were shocked by the sudden death of Aaron Carter who died at the young age of 34 years old. Most recently, Backstreet Boys' Kevin Richardson led a tribute during one of their shows, leading fellow member Nick Carter to start tearing up.

According to Hollywood Life, the famed boy band was at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, on Sunday. At the end of their set, the singer took the time to express his gratitude to fans, whom he considers as family, for their endless support.

"We all grew up together through the highs and the lows...we thank you being part of the Backstreet family," Kevin said.

While the vocalist was delivering his speech, Nick was visibly emotional so AJ McLean and Brian Littrell immediately comforted him by giving him a big hug.

Kevin then told fans about what happened to Aaron Carter, saying they have "heavy hearts" at that moment and they wanted to take that opportunity to recognize him at their show.
