Ryan Reynolds debunked the fan theories-Taylor Swift will not be starring in the upcoming "Deadpool 3" movie with him, however, she is welcome.

While Reynolds was out and about to promote his new holiday movie, "Spirited," several questions about their family friend, Swift, came up in interviews.

One particular topic was hilarious and almost absurd: is the singer going to star in "Deadpool 3"?

Theories regarding the singer's connection to the movie first came up when fans noticed a video Reynolds uploaded in September. The clip was shot in the same location used in Swift's "All Too Well: The Short Film."

This reportedly sparked numerous fan theories on whether the singer-songwriter was going to be in the next "Deadpool" movie, however, Reynolds made it crystal clear: she is not.

Family Friend

Swift is a very close family friend of Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively. She is already considered family, the actor revealed, and she is also very close with their children, James, Inez, and Betty.

When asked if he was open to the idea of Swift joining the cast of "Deadpool 3," it was a no-brainer, Reynolds replied with a positive.

"Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius," he said.

The idea of Swift entering the film industry might not be too far off either, because as of late, the singer has been directing her own music video.

Lively has also helped Swift in directing her music video. Swift's "I Bet You Think About Me" music video was reportedly the actress' first time taking on a directing role, instead of an acting role.

This show just how close the two really are, and on top of that, the Reynolds family are big Swifties.

The actor revealed that they have been listening to the singer's recently released album, "Midnights," and they have been "obsessed," and have a "Midnights dance party" lined up after his interview.

Reynolds also revealed that his children were not aware of their "aunt's" superstar status.

"I think what's most exciting for them is that for the longest time they just thought Taylor's just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that's very, very close, almost family," he shared.

"And then they went to a concert one day and were like, 'Ohhhhh, this isn't a hobby.'"
