Rapper Nas was in New York City, celebrating the release of his album "King's Disease" series when his home in Calabasas, California was burglarized by unidentified men.

According to reports, Nas' team was notified of the burglary via a Ring camera installed in the rapper's home. It caught the men leaving the home, and the team immediately contacted the police, however, the burglars were long gone by the time police officers arrived at the scene.

As the LAPD launched an official investigation into the case, they noted that nobody was at the residence when the crime occurred, but the burglars went through the rapper's home, ransacking and ravaging his belongings.

As of this writing, the items were stolen and their costs are unclear, as the rapper is to return to his residence and make an inventory of the stolen items.

Furthermore, the Ring camera caught the men exiting the house with "at least two bags" full of Nas' belongings, TMZ reports.

Album Release

Nas was celebrating the release of his "King's Disease" albums with Hit-Boy, who co-produced the album series.

Thankfully, Nas was not in his Calabasas home when the burglary occurred. Reports did not note whether the men were armed or not. Ironically, during the party, Nas paid tribute to fellow rapper Takeoff, who was fatally shot and killed last Nov. 1.

"We're trying to tell these people out here, man, we're here for a purpose. We can't be destroying each other over bullshit," the 49-year-old rapper said. "Look at these little brothers and be like don't shoot; don't throw your life away. It ain't worth it. There's something to live for, something to be here for."

"King's Disease III" came out on Nov. 11, the same day Takeoff was laid to rest, which is probably why he also took the time to pay tribute to the late rapper.

The album boasts 17 songs, crediting Nas and Hit Boy as having co-produced it. Mass Appeal records distributes "King's Disease III" album. The full-length music of the album was produced by Hit Boy. Meanwhile, this version of the album was executive produced by Hitboy and Nas.
