Slipknot has been under the spotlight in the past months since the release of its full album, "The End, So Far." But percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan recently sparked worries among fans who still want to listen to the band's future albums.

For what it's worth, Crahan sat for an interview with NME a few weeks ago, where he said the band might focus on singles instead of dropping albums.

In response to this, Slipknot's frontman himself, Corey Taylor, shared his thoughts when he attended the Monster-Mania Con Q&A session.

As transcribed by Blabbermouth, Taylor expressed how difficult it is to have the same people on the same page anymore. Still, he acknowledged the fact that they still get excited about having good ideas for the band.

"But the cool thing is that we've kind of established our history, so whatever comes next will naturally be something that we want to do. So whether it's go in and just blast out a couple of psycho tunes and just have fun doing that or we go in and do a very elaborate plan, like a storyline or something, either way it'll be something that we're really into," he said, as quoted by Loudwire.

For Taylor, no one knows what their next move will be. But he assured that albums would still be considered while all members stand on the same page.

Slipknot Has a Long Way To Go

Taylor and Crahan's comments came weeks after Slipknot sparked disbandment rumors due to its "The End, So Far" album. It served as a follow-up to its 2019 "We Are Not Your Kind."

Instead of disbandment, Jay Weinberg revealed the true meaning behind the album title in an interview with Loudwire. He explained that they came up with the "cryptic and mysterious" title while they were almost done with recording the album.

When he texted Taylor to ask for his opinion, the frontman texted back with "The End, So Far."

Weinberg shared a comment that resonated with Taylor's recent statement, saying that no one knows when they would have their last album. But the clarification that the album is Slipknot's dawn of a new age took fans' worries away.

Meanwhile, Taylor also said a similar sentiment during the band's show in Bulgaria, saying that "The End, So Far" only means the end of one moment for Slipknot and beginning of a new era.
