Bill Ray Cyrus has found love once again, and he revealed that it was not a quick process, but his fiancee,  Firerose might just be his end game this time around.

After his marriage with Tish Cyrus fell apart, news of the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer's engagement to someone new quickly circulated the internet, although during that time it was unconfirmed.

Firerose let in fans on how exactly the 61-year-old proposed to her, "It was really just this moment where Billy looked at me and said 'Do you wanna marry me?' He didn't get down on one knee or anything,

"He said, 'I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'"

While fans questioned the relationship, noting that the relationship came as a surprise to them, the pair confided that it was actually sort of a love story in the making.

How They Met

In his interview with People, Cyrus and Firerose finally come forward and set the record straight and share how their love blossomed and bloomed.

The pair reportedly met over 12 years ago at the set of "Hannah Montana," a Disney show Cyrus was once a part of, with his daughter Miley Cyrus.

"On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don't know, recognition. I was like, 'This girl's a star,'" the singer said.

"She told me she'd had an audition and I said, 'Well, I'm sure you got the job.'"

And since then, they had stayed in touch as friends. "Our friendship was so solid over the years," Firerose said.

Their love for music bonded them together, and they eventually released a duet, "New Day" in July 2021.

According to reports, despite Cyrus' divorce getting finalized earlier this year, a source revealed that their marriage has long been over, this is confirmed by the singer himself.

"Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago. Everybody's turning the page. It's been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change," he said.

The 34-year-old shared how Cyrus began opening up to her about his troubles and worries, which were exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"It just evolved more into, as musical soulmates, to soulmates, happy, pure love that to me, I didn't know could exist," said Cyrus.

The couple also released a new duet, "Time" on Nov 16. The music video showed clips of the happy couple.
