Was rapper Young Dolph a millionaire upon his death?

On November 17 last year, rapper Young Dolph tragically died after armed men shot him several times while he was buying at Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies. At the young age of 36, his life and career were cut short, leaving his family and fans brokenhearted.

His death happened years after he became a target of a 2017 gunfire incident in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fortunately, he survived the attack but spent two weeks in the hospital.

It was noted that the shooting was connected to the beef he had with rapper Yo Gotti.

As the anniversary of his death nears, people started searching for details about him again, including his net worth.

Young Dolph's Net Worth 2022

Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Young Dolph's net worth - this year and at the time of his death - is around $3 million.

Little by little, the rapper - whose real name is Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. - built his empire when he started his career in 2008.

That year, he released his first mixtape, "Paper Route Campaign." The track's popularity pushed him to spend more time rapping and he eventually launched his own label, Paper Route Empire.

He officially marked his debut in 2016 with the album "King of Memphis." It reached No. 5 on the US Rap chart, No. 9 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart, and No. 49 on the Billboard 200 chart.

However, the song ignited feuds with other Memphis rappers, including Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta.

From there, he released more albums, including "Bulletproof," "Thinking Out Loud," "Role Model," "Dum and Dummer," "Rich Slave," "Dum and Dummer 2," and "Paper Route Frank."

Following his death last year, the posthumous tribute album "Long Live Young Dolph" was confirmed. It was officially released on January 21 before the single "LLD (Long Live Dolph)" was dropped.

His other posthumous song, "Get Away," has been released, with the full album coming up next month.

To offer their heartfelt messages to the late rapper, fans in Tennessee and Georgia are now observing Nov. 17, 2022, as the Adolph "Young Dolph" Thornton Jr. Day of Service.

Young Dolph's autopsy, which was released in March, confirmed that the musician was shot in his left chest, left abdomen, right shoulder, right neck, right chin, arms, and back during the shooting incident. The West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center and a medical examiner said his death was a homicide.
