Earlier this week, Blueface was arrested in public in Las Vegas for attempted murder.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has taken point on the arrest of the rapper.

Since his arrest last Nov. 16, 2022, videos and photos of Blueface have gone viral, including a newer video of him showing explicitly firing off was also caught on cam.

On the surveillance footage obtained by TMZ, it shows a truck pulling up near the rapper and his crew. Moments after, Blueface pulled out the gun and fired it in the truck's direction, causing a small commotion in the area.

Last Tuesday, Blueface was arrested outside Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles in Las Vegas. Earlier reports say that it was an undercover operation - that is why Blueface, formally known as Johnathan Jamall Porter, was looking confused along with his girlfriend, Chrissean Rock.

In the now-viral video, cops can be overheard saying that Porter was arrested because of serious charges, including felony attempted murder and the use of deadly firearms or tear gas.

At the time, it was still not known what caused Blueface to fire his gun. But now, TMZ already had the answer to those questions.

Blueface Cause of Arrest Revealed

According to the exclusively obtained documents by the outlet, the actual cause of the open fire was a joke the rapper told in a strip club.

Apparently, the issue started a month ago, on Oct. 8, 2022, when Blueface, and presumably people from the truck, were at the "Euphoric Gentlemen's Club in Vegas."

Based on reports, the said victim that Blueface was after to make a joke about him talking with "some females in a cheap vehicle." This bad joke, falling flatly, sparked an altercation at the time, with authorities saying that Blueface's crew hit the man "multiple times."

The documents obtained by the outlet also say that the victim was just leaving his truck when Blueface's crew mistook him for "going for a gun," which led to the viral altercation.

Multiple bullet marks are found on the track as the victim appeared to have a "bullet graze wound" on his left hand.

As of this writing, it is not known yet whether Blueface will be posting bail or if he is eligible in the first place. Investigations for the matter are yet to be uncovered in the coming days.
