Rita Ora has criticized the continual spotlight on her love life, stating that she prefers to have the focus to be on her work.

At the moment, following a number of high-profile relationships, the 32-year-old singer settled down when she met her dream guy, Taika Waititi. In an upcoming interview with Louis Theroux, Rita reflects on her 10 years in the entertainment industry. Regarding her romantic life, she told Louis that she adores love and being in love. She said being in love is fun for her. She also admitted to being an extremely passionate person when it comes to romantic relationships. To clarify though, she said she does not build her life around romance, even though media seems to be too focused on her love life.

Case in point, in 2013, the "Hot Right Now" singer's relationship was with Calvin Harris was feasted on.

It only lasted a year. Apart from Harris, she also made headlines for her relationships with Rob Kardashian, musician James Arthur, Andrew Garfield, and Travis Barker.

She concluded that being asked about her love life could probably be attributed to her being a woman.

"I've always been very adamant on focusing on me and my work," she said. "Look, we are women. Men don't get asked, 'Oh, you've had 100 boyfriends or girlfriends'. Sometimes they do, but the majority of the time they don't," she added.

Ora revealed that she has "always dreamed of being married" ever since she was a child, in the midst of her covert wedding to Taika. Rita is rumored to have tied the knot with the 47-year-old film director in a low-key ceremony this summer; however, she has never formally confirmed the union, but her close friends have.

The pair reportedly tied the wedding in a modest ceremony in London in August. The singer reportedly altered her last name and will now be known as Mrs. Waititi-Ora.

On the same interview, she was asked however why there is still no new music being dropped. Ora was quite honest, saying she has no idea. She said she has been working on new music for three years now, and even recorded a music video already. Unfortunately, that was scrapped and she felt horrible about it.

She was teased about Rihanna having new music and an alleged feud between them but Ora refused to take the bait, saying instead that she has nothing but respect for Rihanna.
