Rapper Takeoff was shot, and the murder suspect is presently being held by police.

His current bail amount is $2 million.

Because Patrick Xavier Clark, the suspected murderer, said he couldn't afford a private investigator yet believed he needed one to create his case, TMZ discovered that he is serving as a judge for payment.

The DJ and music producer requests an initial payment of $5,000 to employ one in court records acquired by the publication, claiming that he is unable to pay the charges on his own.

Additionally, it claimed that Patrick's family had previously used all of their resources to hire a lawyer who agreed to represent him for a reduced fee. The addition of a private investigator to his defense, according to his attorney, is necessary to "fully investigate" the evidence and "effectively prepare for trial."

In the meanwhile, Patrick said that he already knew a private eye who would take up the case for about $85 an hour.

Patrick Xavier Clark, the suspected assassin of Takeoff, was detained and charged with the rapper's killing, the Houston Police Department reported last week.

Documents also said that he would be placed under house arrest and prohibited from using any weapons if he could post the $2 million bail.

Additionally, he cannot consume marijuana or other banned substances without a prescription.

According to docs, Patrick is prohibited from speaking with a number of people, including J and Takeoff's family. Prior to the fatal shot, Prince Jr., Shakur Stevenson, a well-known boxer, and all three of them were in close proximity to Takeoff.

Since Takeoff's burial on November 11, Quavo has been silent while Offset has spoken about his memories and his sorrow.

Offset, however, requested on Tuesday that people only think fondly about his fellow rapper going ahead. He even shared a photo of Jesus Chris to illustrate his point.

Offset could have been responding to the most recent online claims that Takeoff's parents were fighting over his estate since he allegedly passed away without a will.

A family dispute over who would inherit the late rapper's inheritance, estimated to be worth millions of dollars and have potential future earnings, was originally mentioned by Ace Showbiz.

Takeoff has a net worth of $26 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

A fight broke out over a dangerous dice game in Texas the day after Halloween. Someone then opened fire, shooting and murdering the rapper Takeoff there and then.
