The Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez trial is getting more and more heated as the days go by.

Now, another key witness to the alleged 2020 incident has approached the stand; and instead of providing more clarity to the scene, many thought that he even made the waters murkier with his contradicting statements.

In the recent hearing, Sean Kelly, another eyewitness to the incident, was called on to recall what he saw and remembered on the June 2020 accident in California, which left Megan Thee Stallion, formally known as Megan Pete, badly injured.

According to Kelly, when he peeked outside his home where the incident happened nearby, he saw two women embroiled in a melee; later on, he identified them to be Pete and her ex-assistant Kelsey Harris.

"They were pulling their hair and hitting each other. It was quite violent," he said in a statement, as quoted by Billboard.

Shortly after, a man believed to have matched the description of Jaquan Smith, Tory Lanez's driver, attempted to break the fight, which led to someone firing the first shot on the scene.

Later on, Kelly recalled that a man alighted the vehicle, who was believed to have matched Lanez's description, joining the violent scuffle between Pete and Harris, with Smith, who was trying to break the fight. Eventually, around four to five shots, Kelly claimed, were fired.

It is important to note that Kelly was the one who called 911 at the scene, but he never had the chance to identify who shot on the call. However, he highlighted that he "never saw a gun" but only saw "flashes."

Kelly then later claimed that he believed that one of the women, Pete or Harris, fired the shot. However, the testimony started to become murky when he later on contradicted this revelation when he said that Lanez was the one who was holding the weapon.

"Did you see the shorter guy with a gun in his hand?" asked Mgdesyan, Lanez's lawyer. "Yes," Kelly answered, referring to Tory Lanez as the "shorter guy."

"It appeared to me they were trying to kill her. Dragged her across the street and picked her up," Kelly ultimately revealed. "The short guy was agitated; he got out of the car. His arm was stretched out and he was firing everywhere. Four or five shots."

However, when he was asked again by Mgdesyan, Kelly retracted his statements again and said that Harris "fired the first shot."

The Tory Lanez felony assault trial has been one of the most-watched trials in the music community, considering the big scandal Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez was embroiled.
