Shania Twain bares it all in a photoshoot as she conquered her insecurities by posing almost half-naked ahead of her new album's release.

Speaking to People Magazine, the country musician revealed the main reason why she decided to ditch the upper part of her outfit in the cover artwork of "Waking Up Dreaming," a song that is included in her upcoming album "Queen of Me" due for release this coming February 2023.

"This is me expressing my truth... I'm comfortable in my own skin, and this is the way I am sharing that confidence," she said.

To further explain her decision, Twain shared that she is a woman in her late 50s and noted that she doesn't need to "hide behind the clothes" anymore because she's unashamed of her body.

Today, even after going through menopause, the "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" songstress isn't emotional anymore and feels "OK" in general, adding, "It's really liberating." (via Billboard)

Shania Twain Used to be Very Insecure With Her Body

During her younger years, Shania Twain didn't have the same confidence she has now compared to before. As a teenager, the singer would never wear a bikini at a beach.

"Trust me, this took courage because I am so not an exhibitionist. It was all about my own message to myself," she noted. (via Stylist)

The musician added that it's about time for her to feel good about her body and show other people that insecurities are normal because it's part of everybody's life.

Also, a big part of why she decided to be carefree with all the drama is her being "unapologetic" for who she is and for how she looks because it leads her to be less affected by other people's negativity.
