LeAnn Rimes reportedly fears that her 27-year music career has already reached its conclusion.

The "Can't Fight The Moonlight" singer had to postpone two shows on December 9 after revealing her doctor had discovered a "bleed" on her vocal cord.

"It absolutely and utterly crushes my heart to have to explain that I will be delaying this weekend's gigs," LeAnn wrote in a handwritten message that she posted on Instagram.

The "How Do I Live" singer said that when she was battling the illness, a bleed on her vocal chord was discovered by her doctor. This bleed was allegedly brought on by the "violent cough that came along" with being sick.

Despite her assurances to her followers that she is improving, her doctors have determined that she will not be able to sing or speak.

"I am heartbroken to have to do this since there was nothing more that I was looking forward to than sharing the holidays with you," the two-time Grammy winner continued.

She wanted to have steroid injections, nevertheless, a source who talked with Radar Online claimed, in order to continue traveling. Her physicians cautioned her against it since it may further harm her voice chords.

She was also informed, "in certain circumstances, the vocal cords stiffen and lose their ability to vibrate after hemorrhage, which might put a stop to her singing career for life," according to the report.

LeAnn Rimes, who has been candid about her ongoing struggles with anxiety and depression, has experienced even greater stress as a result of the drama.

She is the main provider for her family, according to a source, and she and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, lead a luxury lifestyle.

They live in a huge house in Los Angeles, and the singer-songwriter reportedly earns millions from singing and traveling, which is thought to be their main source of income after the latter's most recent TV program, "Country Comfort," was canceled the year before after just one season.

But if her income generation stops, she and Eddie may be in a major financial problem.
