The very first Jingle Bell Ball happened back in 2008, and has been held annually ever since then-except in 2020 because of the Covid pandemic-and fans flock each year to catch a glimpse of their favorite artists decked for the halls.

The two-day event happens at the world-famous O2 arena, with over 16,000 attendees each night.

Some of the biggest stars of the year are invited to perform their greatest hits and they sure are welcome to sing a Christmas song or two, too.

Jingle Bell Ball is held by Capital FM with the goal of donating a portion of its ticket sales profit to Global's Make Some Noise.

This concert event has seen very memorable performances and some eye-brow-raising moments as well.

5. Dua Lipa (2022)

Dua Lipa's "Future Nostalgia" era might be coming to a close, but at least fans get to see her perform some of the hits from the iconic album one more time at this year's Jingle Bell Ball.

Included in Lipa's set are "Physical," "One Kiss," "Hallucinate, "Cold Heart," "Levitating," and "Don't Stop Now."

The 27-year-old singer also pulled out an old gem from her discography-"New Rules."

According to reports, Lipa shared with the crowd that her Jingle Bell Ball performance was her last and 97th show of the year.

4. Sam Smith (2017)

Sam Smith has enjoyed a stable career and a handful of re-invitations to the annual Jingle Bell Ball, and the crowd loves him dearly.

The British singer is definitely in his element as he performed for the O2 Arena crowd time and time again.

While Smith has stunned this year's crowd as he performed his biggest 2022 hit, "Unholy," this list won't be including that performance.

Instead, his 2017 performance of one of his greatest hits, "I'm Not The Only One" is, however, included.

Capital FM described the audience during Smith's 2017 performance of the cult classic as electric, as the singer stunned everyone with his flawless vocals.

3. Ed Sheeran (2021)

After announcing that he was going to retire a couple of years back, fans worried that they might never see their favorite ginger singer-songwriter ever again.

But thankfully, Ed Sheeran decided against retirement and went on to release single after single, as well as a new album.

What better way to end the two-day Christmas event than to have Sheeran perform?

The hitmaker reportedly had a whooping "12-strong set" to gift to fans, and even brought out Anne-Marie onstage with him to perform "2002."

2. Little Mix (2018)

Before their hiatus, one of the world's biggest girl groups graced the Jingle Bell Ball stage year after year with their biggest hits, and fans couldn't get enough.

Little Mix is a whole package: visuals, vocals, and artistry. Their performances are always filled with fun and unique concepts each year, leaving fans wondering what next year's theme will be.

For their 2018 performance, Little Mix had an Egyptian theme and bewitched the audience with "Black Magic," and other hit songs like "Power," "Touch," and "Secret Love Song."

1. Taylor Swift (2019)

Taylor Swift graced the 2019 Jingle Bell Ball stage in an all-white ensemble and opened her set with the first-ever live performance version of "London Boy," a song from her seventh studio album.

To bring in the Christmas spirit, the singer-songwriter also performed "Christmas Tree Farm," as well as other songs from "Lover": "You Need to Calm Down" and the title track "Lover."
