While he has been successful as a singer, Legend and Teigen both hit rock bottom due to the controversies they got embroiled in.

For Legend's part, he infamously got condemned for supporting San Francisco's controversial district attorney, Chesa Boudin. Meanwhile, his wife got involved in several social media scandals in the past years, including her tone-deaf tweets, "hypocrite" move when she boycotted Goya, their $13,000 wine, and several bullying issues.
