It's been almost three years since Kali Uchis last released her previous album "Sin Miedo" and it appears that she would be giving fans a special treat this 2023 as she's planning to drop two new records.

According to 106.1 KISS FM, the Latin pop star recently released a performance video of her 2015 track "Melting" that became popular on social media, especially on TikTok.

During the premiere, she shared a comment, writing, "KU3 & KU4 2023" referencing to her discography. She later took to her official Twitter account to confirm that she's "dropping both" this year.

She quote-retweeted a previous post that gives away some details surrounding her upcoming music. As she previously discussed, her next two albums would be in different languages, one in English and one in Spanish.

The recent news comes after an almost silent 2022 for Uchis' career as she only dropped one song last year titled "NO HAY LEY." She also accompanied Tyler, The Creator, on his tour.

The outlet noted that the upcoming albums would be a follow-up to her 2020 record, "Sin Miendo", which became her transition into Latin pop as almost all songs contained Spanish lyrics.

Her previous English project titled "Isolation" was released in 2018.

As of this writing, Kali Uchis has not publicly revealed more information regarding the official release dates and new singles regarding her new records.

However, she previously spoke to Vogue Magazine to discuss the projects, saying she wanted to show different sides of herself to the public and wanted to prove that she's a "multi-dimensional" musician.

The "Your Teeth in My Neck" hitmaker said the new albums are about "having fun" and she also wanted to let her fans see a side of her that they have never seen before.

Kali Uchis to Collaborate With Ariana Grande?

In early reports, the Latin pop singer took to her official TikTok account to do a live stream where she teased fans about a collaboration with Ariana Grande.

Uchis said the former Nickelodeon star isn't recording any music recently because she's working on her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the live-action film, "Wicked."

The singer then noted that the "Just Like Magic" songstress told her "when she's done with that, we are going to work. I'm excited for that."
