Former lawyers of Kanye West have uniquely cut ties with him - by turning to newspaper ads.
His former business manager Thomas St. John claimed in December that he was unable to find him for weeks, in order to serve the "Donda" rapper with a lawsuit. It instantly raised concerns that he may be missing.
The persistent claims that the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian had vanished were cast into doubt when he was subsequently seen attending a church service at the beginning of this month.
His previous attorneys are apparently now attempting to contact the father-of-four by placing print ads in Los Angeles newspapers in an effort to get him off their client list.
The Greenburg Traurig Law Film is using a "multi-pronged strategy" to find the contentious rapper, according to court filings acquired by HotNewHipHop.
The papers read, "Publication of the Withdrawal Order's contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order."
It continued by saying that given Kanye's notoriety, the Withdrawal Order's marketing may receive a lot of media coverage, which might increase the possibility that the rapper will see the order.
After his anti-Semitism controversy, the legal firm terminated the "College Dropout" rapper as a client. He had previously been defended by the company against Ultra International Music Publishing.
Thomas alsorequested the court for extra time this month to find his former business partner so that he could be served with a lawsuit. Kanye West is being sued for $4.5 million in damages, according to the man, who claims that the rapper owes him money after suddenly ending their collaboration.

In the lawsuit, Thomas claimed that Kanye had promised to pay him $300,000 per month for his parts but had ceased paying him after three months of their 18-month agreement.
However, once speculations about Ye's location spread, information about his wife emerged; they did not, however, get a marriage license. They are dedicated to one another, but their union is not enforceable.
According to TMZ, Yeezy designer Bianca Censori was allegedly married to Kanye West.
They were photographed wearing their new rings as they arrived at the Waldorf Astoria last week, with the rapper donning what looked to be a wedding band on his left hand.
The song "Censori Overload," which Kanye released, is reportedly a dedication to his new leading woman.
After nearly seven years of marriage, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce in November.
