Nick Carter Bio 

Nickolas Gene Carter was born on January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York. His parents are Robert Gene Carter and Jane Elizabeth Spaulding. Carter took an early interest in music as a child. In 1992, he was successful in auditioning into becoming one of the members of the now legendary 1990's boy band, The Backstreet Boys. 

Carter is married to fitness guru, Lauren Kitt. They have three children together. 

Career with the Backstreet Boys and a Solo Singing Career 

Nick was able to enjoy the privilege of being a member of the leading American '90's boy band, The Backstreet Boys. 'N Sync and 98 degrees come in second and third in the boy band market in America during the 1990's. Carter has been touring in many cities across the United States and other parts of the world as a member of the Backstreet Boys. 

Carter did temporarily pursue a solo singing career. Among his albums are "Now or Never" (2002) and "I'm Taking Off" (2011). 

Death of Aaron Carter 

Following the passing of Carter's younger brother and musician, Aaron Carter, on November 5, 2022, Nick seems to have been coping with his loss through new music. Nick released a new song called, "Hurts to Love You" on January 12. A day prior to the release of this song, the BSB member made an announcement of the next day's song distribution via social media.
