Karol G is dropping her highly-anticipated album in two years, "Manana Sera Bonito" two years after the release of her third studio album, "KG0516", in 2021.

Just a few weeks before her birthday, the Colombian singer is gearing up to release her most personal body of work yet, "Today, I announce a project that I've dedicated so much love and time to."

The album titled "Manana Sera Bonito" translates to "tomorrow will be beautiful," and it was a mantra that she lives by.

"This definitely represents a specific phase of my life. The name of the album is a phrase I kept repeating to myself when nothing felt great," she continued.

"I mean, I was going through the best moment of my career, but personally, I was really disconnected from myself and from my friends.

"I wasn't unhappy, but I wasn't happy either. So every day I'd say to myself, 'It's okay, mañana será bonito - tomorrow will be beautiful.'"

Aside from the beautiful and touching story behind the album's concept and name, Karol G also shared a teaser clip, giving fans a glimpse of what tomorrow will be like for them once the album drops.

In the teaser, the 31-year-old singer is seated in a car in Medellin when a note magically drops on the windshield, and it reads "if you're sad, call me."

At the end of the clip, the person on the other line eased Karol G's worries, and simply said, "But señorita, the important thing is that mañana será bonito."

Fans are eager to hear Karol G's upcoming album, especially after the massive success "KG0516" garnered in 2021.

According to Billboard, the predecessor of "Manana Sera Bonito" was nominated for a Grammy Award and even peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums.

Karol G began her music career at a young age. She joined the Colombian version of "The X Factor" and landed her first record contract after.

It was not until 2017 did she gain massive success, and released her debut studio album "Unstoppable."

She has cited some of the biggest artists of this generation as her inspiration, like Rosalia, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Spice Girls, The Bee Gees, and more.

The singer is known to focus more on her music than her aesthetics. For the album cover of "Unstoppable," she did not wear any makeup, as she wanted people to listen to her music, and not be distracted by anything else.
