Ozzy Osbourne was set to embark on a tour across the United Kingdom and Europe this year, but fans were shocked as he canceled his series of concerts due to his health problems. More recently, supporting act Judas Priest broke their silence after the rock legend announced his retirement.

Taking to their official Twitter account, the heavy metal band appeared to be supportive of the musician's recovery process as they wanted to send their "love and support" to him. The group also took the opportunity to express their gratitude to their supporters for "standing" with them.

"Right now we're looking at feasible opportunities to see each other again soon and will post updates accordingly," the band added. (via NME)

The recent statement comes a day after Ozzy Osbourne revealed one of the hardest things he had ever shared to his fans, beginning with the story of how he damaged his spine after an accident four years ago.

Through the years, all the former Black Sabbath member wanted is to get back on stage to perform in front of his loyal fans. Even though his voice is stable and doing good, his body is "physically weak" after undergoing several therapy sessions and treatments.

"Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F**** ME UP, more than you will ever know... Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way," he added. (via The Guardian)

In addition, Osbourne said he was looking for options on how he would be able to perform in concerts without having to travel long distances. Concluding his announcement, the vocalist thanked his fans for their support and for giving him the life he never dreamed he would have.

The "No More Tears" hitmaker's tour was initially scheduled in 2017, but due to his health condition and the COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed back to 2023. Amid his recovery, the singer was able to release an album titled "Patient 9" that became a success, leading it to be nominated at this year's Grammy Awards.

In recent reports, the musician was recently spotted entering a hospital in Los Angeles, California, hours after his shocking announcement. Despite his current condition, Osbourne appeared to be positive as he flashed a peace sign to nearby photographers.
